The owners were very friendly, and the room was much better then expected for the budget friendly price! It included everything we needed- coffee, amenities, microwave and a mini fridge. Highly recommend for a cheap stay!
Stayed Monday August 22, 2022 in room #8. I don't care if it's older, everything works perfectly fine. Nicely kept and clean. Bed is comfortable. Has a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer, gas stove, microwave and coffee pot. A couch and 32 inch TV with alot of TV stations to choose from. Edit stayed two nights different room #18. Lucky 8's. Owners are very friendly.
Great place. Very clean. Older motel. The bed is very comfortable. All amenities are close by and easily accessible. Definitely, come back to the Bluebird.
This is a wonderful and charming roadside motel. We stayed here after a long, cold & wet camping trip in Tofino and it felt like coming home. The hospitality is fantastic, the room was spacious and reasonable, very clean too.
I felt very welcomed to the Bluebird. The managers were warm and hospitable. It was very affordably priced. I needed to work and they had very reliable and good wifi.
We were a bit hesitant to book here because of some bad reviews, but we thought we d give it a shot anyway. The price is really good, the room was a bit old but clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was great! They were super welcoming, honnest and helpful ( we forgot both our coats hanging on the door when we left, they kept them in a safe place for us which we are very grateful for.) Thanks for everything, would deffinitly come back and recommend it to friends. As the staff said " this place is great value", they are absolutely right !
We arrive late in the evening just for sleeping and the room was nice and cozy. There was a sign that using the kitchen required a fee. The room looks clean. Highly recommended.
If you are on a budget, then this place is hard to beat. Aircon, bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms with double bed and futon, kitchenette with microwave, cooker and fridge-freezer. I didn't really need all that, and it wasn't included in the description, so I may have got one of those no-other-rooms-left upgrades. Anyway, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and for me the location was great. It's not a palace, and although the room was clean and tidy it didn't have the freshest smell I've ever smelt, but for value, it has to be given 5 stars.
